Angel of the North

Finally got around to photograph the Angel of the North as I returned from the morning at Eshott.

It was a beautiful sunny day with a fantastic interesting sky so I'm delighted with these shots. Having said that trying to get a clean shot without people standing on the angel was a nightmare. Also the lack of a path down to the classic front on photo spot means a nasty scar in the grass where everyone walks... so I photoshopped that out! I included the original unedited shot for reference.
