Stockton and Darlington Railway Bicentenary Launch

Stockton & Darlington councils got together today to launch the plans for the becentary of the opening of the Stockton and Darlington Railway in 2025. As part of the anouncement 60163 Tornado of the #a1trust# visited to to travel the route. I caught her 5 times during the day:

• Between Allens West & Teesside Airport
• On Skerne Bridge in Darlington
• Between Darlington North Road & Heighington near Burtree Lane
• At Teesside Airport Station
• At Yarm Station

I took a gamble for my initial location to shoot super slow shutter speed. I've been considering slow shutter panning on steam for a while but as it's not something I see to often so I've always bottled it to ensure I got a shot. But today, as the light was flat and grey, I decided I needed something to make the shots interesting so I took a punt. I'm delighted with the result!
